S3 bucket redirect missing root object only?
I have an S3 bucket that is not configured for static website hosting. I am hosting only data files there that are retrieved by our desktop software.
There is a CloudFront distribution used with this S3 bucket backing it and a custom subdomain so that I can do:
mysubdomain.mydomain.com/image.jpg
This works great, but if someone goes to a browser and types mysubdomain.mydomain.com, I'd like it to redirect to www.mydomain.com
How can I do this?
If I need to enable static website hosting, what gets fundamentally changed about my bucket as I will never have html files on it.
redirect amazon-s3 bucket
